Sportball Camp

Sportball camps focus on the eight core Sportball sports, arts and crafts,
snack time, stories, music, co-operative games and theme days. Please bring a snack, water bottle and sunscreen.

EcoQuest Camp

In this full-day camp, participants will be involved in activities that will
connect them to the natural environment. The program will consist of science
experiments, co-operative games and plenty of outdoor adventures.

Roller Hockey Skills Camp

Rock your roller hockey skills at these upcoming camps and take
your game to the next level. Practice blading, passing, shooting,
offence, and defense tactics and tones more in the Braefoot
Lacrosse Box. Please bring your own rollerblades, helmet, and appropriate safety gear.

Weekly Parent - Tot Drop-In
Looking to spend time with other parents and their wee ones? Come enjoy a
variety of activities this summer that include crafts, sports, story time,
and play time for the kids. For the parents, enjoy speakers with chats on
nutrition, parenting, fitness and a variety of other topics. Snacks provided by donation.

Sportball Junior Multi-Sport
Ages 16mon-2yrs
Multi-Sport programs focus on skill development in 7 popular sports:
Soccer, Hockey, Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, and Golf.
Participants learn, rehearse, and refine sports skills in a positive,
encouraging, and non-competitive atmosphere.
Programs
are carefully designed to focus on the child’s gross motor
development. Through creative instruction, customized sports equipment,
and positive encouragement, children develop balance, strength,
co-ordination, stamina, and timing.
Programs
for pre-school and primary school children are held once a week
for one hour. Classes are held Monday to Saturday during the Fall,
Winter, Spring & Summer.

Sportball Parent & Tot Multi-Sport
Ages
2-3yrs
This program is designed to guide parents and their children through
the introductory skills of 7 different ball sports.Parents
are instructed on how to correctly assist their children in learning
the skills of Hockey, Soccer, Tennis, Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball
and Golf.
Games
and skills are taught in a fun and creative manner by using story
lines to encourage participation. All programs are non-competitive
and focus on success while building confidence. Programs are 45
minutes in duration.
Grandparents and caregivers are also welcome to bring children to
programs.
We recommend that the same adult attend the program each week.

Eli Pasquale Summer Basketball Camps Eli
is referred to as "one of Canada's best basketball players."
His skills shot skyward during his five years at the University
of Victoria, where he led the team to five straight Canadian University
Championships. As a 6'1" guard, Eli tops the list of UVIC all
time scorers and was honoured by having his jersey number 13, retired.
He was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in 1984 and was a member
of Canada's Olympic basketball program for an amazing 15 years.

Westcoast Academy of Performing Arts
Westcoast
Academy of Performing Arts provides dance training by qualified
teachers to promote students in their physical grace, focusing on
both mind and body, thus allowing them to develop confidence on
stage and off.
During
the 2010/11 school season Westcoast Academy is offering examinations
and presentation in vocational (pre-professional) and graded (children's
levels) from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet as well as
vocational and graded examinations in Imperial Society of Teachers
of Dancing (ISTD) Modern.

Saanich
Lacrosse offers new and experienced players ages 5 to 17 an opportunity
to play Canada's national sport. Competitive and recreational leagues

Outdoor Soccer Clinic

Sportball coaches develop competence and confidence on the field in Sportball soccer classes. Children are taught the fundamental skills necessary to excel in soccer. These include throw-ins, dribbling, trapping, passing, goalie skills and more. Classes are dedicated to skills development and putting those skills to work in an exciting, non-competitive game. Arts and crafts, snack time, stories, music, co-operative games and theme days. Please bring a nut-free snack, refillable water bottle and dress appropriately for the weather!

Pedalheads™ Bike Camps

From training wheels to trails, Pedalheads™ has safe, fun and challenging bike camps for children ages 3-12.
During the last 16 years we have taught over 100,000 children to ride, using our own Pedalheads™ teaching
method, combined with small classes and exceptional instructors. Our comprehensive program opens up a world of opportunities for a lifetime of cycling.
Camps run every week of the summer starting July 2 until August 24, Monday - Friday.
Pedalheads™ will be offering morning camps (9:30-12) and afternoon camps (1:00-3:30).
Parents will be directed to the parking lot; meeting place at the back of Braefoot Community Centre where we will set up our tent and other equipment.
