Sponsorship into Your Favorite Activity!
The Braefoot Community Association would like your help to gain
information relating to youth participation in positive lifestyles.
Please take the time to complete a short 5 question survey. Upon
completion we invite you to apply for a sponsorship into your
favorite activity.
Applicants
must be in grade 5, 6 or 7 and surveys must be received by the
Braefoot Community Association by June 7, 2009. Recipients will
be notified by July 1st and will be acknowledged in the Times
Colonist. So hurry up and apply!
Complete
your application in two simple steps:
- If
you completed the Active in the Community survey at school,
please skip to step 2. If not, download the survey by clicking
here. Then complete the survey and mail or drop off to the
Braefoot Community Association, 1359 McKenzie Avenue, Victoria,
BC V8P 2M1
- Submit
your choice for the activity you wish to receive sponsorship
towards by clicking here
Program
Objective
To create awareness of the importance of leading an active lifestyle
while enabling youth to participate in, and promoting to them,
positive activities.
Philosophy
The
Braefoot Community Association strongly believes that the more
positive activities our youth are involved in, the less time they
are exposed to potentially negative influences. Braefoot's efforts
to enable and encourage youth to be more active will ultimately
lead to healthier communities beyond just the physical benefits.
